Spicy Sicilian pasta tossed in Gusto Etna sauce and topped with creamy burrata.
This Recipe Contains
250g Fabbrica Della Pasta Linguine
200g Gusto Etna sauce
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
½ small onion, finely chopped
6–8 cherry tomatoes, halved (optional for sweetness)
Fresh basil leaves
1 ball burrata (or fresh mozzarella)
Grated pecorino or parmesan (to taste)
Salt & pepper
Instructions
1
Cook the pasta
Bring salted water to boil. Cook Fabbrica Della Pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
2
Prepare the sauce
In a large pan, heat olive oil. Add garlic and onion, sauté until golden. Add cherry tomatoes and let them blister. Stir in Gusto Etna sauce and simmer gently for 5 minutes.
3
Combine
Add drained pasta into the sauce. Toss well. If too thick, loosen with a splash of pasta water.
4
Finish
Tear burrata on top so it melts into the spicy sauce. Add fresh basil and grated pecorino. Drizzle with olive oil and cracked black pepper.
