Juicy Turkey Burgers

A wholesome, juicy burger that doesn’t skimp on flavour. Serve it up with your favourite toppings for a guaranteed family hit.

600g turkey mince
1 red onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh chopped thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano
squeeze of lime
1 tbsp EVOO
spray oil
4-6 burger buns
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo,

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the turkey mince, onion, thyme, oregano, and lime.

Add in the EVOO and mix well until all the ingredients ar evenly combined.

Divide the mixture into 4-6 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

Heat a non-stick pan or over high heat. Once the pan is hot, lightly coat it with spray oil. You may also use the barbecue.

Place the patties in the pan and sear for 1 minute on high heat. Lower heat to low, cover pan with lid, and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or till cooked through.

Serve the burgers on buns with your choice of toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayonnaise.
