Tender minute steaks wrapped around layers of Parma ham, creamy mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and fresh basil — this easy twist on traditional bragoli brings a taste of Italy to your family table.

This Recipe Contains

6 slices minute steak
200g parma ham
250g mozzarella di bufala, drained & sliced
3 tomatoes, sliced
Handful fresh basil
Rocket or baby spinach leaves to serve
Grana Padano shavings to serve

Instructions

Lay out the steak slices on your prepping surface and add ingredients in this order on one side of the steak slices: parma ham, mozzarella, tomatoes, basil.

Close the steak slices as you would a tortilla wrap, using toothpicks to hold it closed. Try to close it in a way that no mozzarella will escape while cooking.

Spray the pan with oil and let it heat up, and turn on the oven on gas mark 6 - 200C - 400F.

Pan fry each portion for 2 minutes each side on medium high heat.

Cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

Serve on top of the greens and scatter the Grana shavings on top.
