
Maltese Sausage Pasta Chips

Large paccheri pasta tubes are stuffed with savory sausage, steamed until plump, then rolled in a Grana cheese and herb crust and air-fried to golden, crunchy perfection.
This Recipe Contains
300g Maltese Sausage
250g Fabbrica Della Pasta Paccheri Pasta (found exclusively at Welbee's)
30g Grana Padano (grated)
1tsp Mixed Herbs
1tsp Vegetable Oil
Instructions

Stuff the pasta
Cut the tip of the sausage and pump it into each Pacchero. Fill them to the brim.

Steam Until Tender
Place them into a streamer and close the lid. Place it over a boiling pot of water and steam them for 15 minutes. Please note that the pasta will puff up and the sausage will shrink. This is normal but trust the process.

Prepare the Cheese Coating
In a shallow place, mix the Grana cheese with the herbs.

Coat with Cheese & Herbs
Spray some oil over the pasta to make them sticky and roll them through the cheese mixture.

Air Fry to Crisp
Place them into an air fryer and crisp up at 170°c for about 15 minutes.

Cool and Serve
Allow them to cool down. They will get crispier.
